KEDRAB™ is an essential Human Rabies Immunoglobulin (HRIG) for effective passive, transient post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) against rabies infection, ideal for use immediately after exposure to a rabid or potentially rabid animal.
For optimal protection, KEDRAB™ must be administered alongside a complete rabies vaccination series.
Each 10-mL vial delivers a total of 1500 IU, catering to adults up to 75 kg (165 lb.), with the possibility of requiring additional vials based on patient weight and treatment protocols.
