RotaTeq® is a live, oral pentavalent vaccine designed to prevent rotavirus gastroenteritis, targeting virus types G1, G2, G3, G4, and G9.
Specifically approved for infants aged between 6 weeks and 32 weeks, RotaTeq helps protect against severe diarrhea and vomiting caused by rotavirus.
The vaccination schedule includes three oral doses, with the first dose administered between 6 to 12 weeks of age, followed by two more doses at intervals of 4 to 10 weeks.
Each dose of RotaTeq is provided in a user-friendly, squeezable plastic dosing tube, ensuring ease of administration.
